Lishe kwa Wazee (“Elderly Nutrition”) is a digital awareness campaign promoting the health, dignity, and wellbeing of older adults in Tanzania. Through storytelling, education, and community engagement, the project advocates for accessible, nutritious diets while ensuring elders remain seen, valued, and cared for.

As people age, proper nutrition becomes essential for maintaining health, strength, and dignity. However, many elderly Tanzanians face limited access to nutritious food, low income, and a lack of information on age-appropriate diets. Promoting good nutrition is not just about food—it is about care, independence, and improving quality of life for our elders.

You can be part of this movement. Whether you’re a healthcare worker, advocate, caregiver, or concerned citizen, your voice matters. Share stories, spread information, and raise awareness in your community or online. Together, we can create lasting change, ensuring every elder has the nourishment, respect, and attention they deserve.
